Christopher Nicholas Bangs

Christopher Nicholas Bangs is a composer and music producer based in London. Specialising in combining acoustic instrumentation and electronic textures and sounds, he writes for film, TV and cross-media projects.

Bangs established himself as a film composer in 2011 with his contemporary score for the award-winning Tinge Krishnan film Junkhearts, starring Romola Garai. In 2013 the feature length documentary Battle of the Sexes was released. Scored by Bangs, the film tells the story of the legendary tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs. Bangs also wrote and produced the music for the sci-fi drama Dimensions and the short film The Appointment. Most recently he composed the music for the feature film Panic, which premiered at London’s Raindance Film Festival and is now in the midst of creating the score for Matador Pictures' musically driven feature, Highly Functional.
